If your partner doesn’t value long-term goals and prefers to live unconventionally or if they aren’t interested in working a stable nine-to-five job, you have to ask yourself if you’re okay with that.
My major issue with the subject of prenups is that they are so often thought of as an insult to women. But having one would have saved me in my previous relationship.
So, what was my response to all of this? Avoidance. I refused to make any decision, let alone the right one. I did what I wanted with my money, I spent whenever I wanted to, and I wasn’t careful.
